We are in the year of 2017 and it has been proven that social media marketing is one of the best ways to grow your business. One way you could easily gain exposure towards your business and unveil it to the world is by using “influencers”.This is quite a new concept to many executives/ entrepreneurs and doesn't understand how to use it for leverage yet. To achieve your business to its maximum potential you would have to make sure you follow these simple steps:

 

  1. Choose key influencers that have great followings of your target customer market. It will significantly grow sales and significantly grow brand awareness. Make sure you choose wisely because you are going to be spending lots of time and capital on them.

  2. Make sure you produce value for the “influencer”. Be ready to give them something for their services. Whether it’s, inviting them to events, or giving them free product. Just make sure that there is some type of payment and agreement.  

  3. Engage with influencers that love what you do. It’s pointless to hire an influencer that can’t attract an audience with little to no interest in your product, making it an undesirable and “fake” propaganda. Also, you would be limiting your strategies moving forward with that person. So, look for someone that has relatively similar interests with your product, additionally, they would use your product even when they aren’t getting paid, and everything will be smoother and the enthusiastic level will rocket.

  4. Look for dedication engagement with followers. Quality vs quantity in a nutshell. It’s better to hire someone that actually interacts with their followers. This is very important because they have connected with their audience on a different level and are more likely to produce sales.

  5. Give them creative control. Let them do what they do, that's how they got their followings. Give them control over the posts creativity because they’ll mold it to themselves so it can feel more authentic.

  6. Build a mutual relationship. Don’t just be acquaintances, be friends! You can never have too many friendships and it makes work easier.

  7. Communication is key. Make sure that everything is laid out and anything involving schedule and pay is as transparent as possible.
